AP Art and Design Portfolio Exams (AP 2-D Art and Design, AP 3-D Art and Design, and AP Drawing) are administered through the AP Art and Design digital submission web application. We recommend you start uploading images as soon as you can, so both you and your teacher can monitor the development of your portfolio.
Can you get a 6 in AP Studio Art?
You’ll notice that there are two different types: Drawing and 2-D Design, it depends upon which AP Art class you are focusing on for this course. In this first section, there are two scores: 5 & 6. Six is the highest possible score.
Can I submit an AP Art portfolio without taking the class?
Yes, students can submit any portfolio, regardless of their teachers’ AP Course Audit authorization.
How many images do you need to submit for your concentration portfolio?
A minimum of half of your portfolio should be based on the concentration for which you seek entry. The portfolio requires 12 to 18 individual artworks. If appropriate, include detailed images. Artwork must be legible.
Can you submit digital art in portfolio?
Portfolio lets your artwork shine, and you can also use Portfolio to display your photography work. With Creative Cloud products, students can create digital art and graphics with apps like Illustrator before making their own website.

What is the highest score for AP exam?

A score of 3 or higher is generally considered good, because that means you passed the exam! A 4 is considered very good, and a 5 is especially impressive since it is the highest score. Also keep in mind that every college sets its own policy about AP credit. Some schools only give credit for scores of 4 or 5.

- Sign in to AP Digital Portfolio. Go to AP Digital Portfolio and sign in using your College Board username and password.
- Go to your class. From the dashboard, navigate to your AP Seminar class.
