Due to the numerous issues surrounding dogs at Burning Man, the organization has decided not to allow them at the event. Do not show up at the gate with your animal at Burning Man and expect to be admitted to the event. Many animals have been lost each year, and problem dogs have caused disputes between camps.

Yes. Due to unseasonably wet weather, the grass on the hills is unusually verdant, and that’s resulted in more bugs showing up in the desert than usual. There are green beetles called stink bugs (so-called because they emit a coriander-like odor when disturbed), mosquitos, and gnat-like seed bugs called Nysius.
