How do I check my AA membership?
If you’re an AA Member, you’ll need your membership number. This 16 digit number can be found on the back of your membership card, or on your policy documents. If you have AA insurance, you’ll need your policy number. This can be found on your policy documents.

Can I use my AA membership for someone else?
Yes. With personal breakdown cover, you’re covered in any car you drive. You’re also covered if you’re a passenger in any car. So whether you’re travelling in your own car, a friend or family member’s or someone else’s, you can call us out if you break down.
Can I get a refund on my AA membership?
For Members paying annually, subject to any other statutory rights you may have, there will be no refunds following the cooling off period. Continuous Members paying monthly or quarterly can cancel their Membership at any time by giving a minimum of 30 days notice.

All you need to do is: Call us on 0343 316 4444 or 0161 332 1789 – we’re open 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday; 9am to 3pm, Saturday. Tell us if you want to make any changes to your cover, or upgrade (we can revise your quote there and then). Tell us if you’re happy to renew by phone each year.
