Is the forest closed in California?
Seven National Forests (NF) in California remain closed: Angeles NF, Cleveland NF, Los Padres NF, Inyo NF, San Bernardino NF, Sequoia NF, and Sierra NF. Why are California national forests closed?
National Forests in Southern California closed temporarily due to weather, fires. As fires continue to rage across much of the state, the Forest Service has announced it is temporarily closing national forests as extreme heat, wind and dry conditions continue.
