They DO have a zero stop when the CDS dial is installed. They DON’T with the factory MOA dial that it comes with. A zero stop isn’t the same thing as a zero lock however. The stop only stops it in moving in one direction.
What is the difference between Leupold vx3 and VX5?
For the type of shooting you’ll be doing the VX3i will be just fine. They’re nice scopes. That being said, the VX5 is to me clearer and brighter, and has more forgiving eye relief and seems to offer a larger field of view, which makes target acquisition easier at higher magnification.
