Is MT-07 restricted?
Throttle plate restrictor: The LAMS MT07 comes with a throttle plate restrictor located on the side of the bike. It can be either swapped for a non-restricted plate or one can manually cut out the restriction; swap preferred if possible for a variety of reason.

Is the MT-07 a beginner bike?
With great riding ergonomics and a very tractable engine, the Yamaha MT-07 is definitely one of the easiest to ride around town. The engine is mated to a slick 6-speed gearbox with a multi-plate clutch although a slipper clutch would’ve been a welcome addition.
