Moodle is ETH’s central learning platform. Open-source and developed by a worldwide group, it is very versatile, and instructors use it in their courses in many different ways. The platform runs on ETH infrastructure. Moodle may be accessed with your ETH username and AAI password. Moodle courses for ETH students are synchronised with MyStudies.
How can faculty use Moodle?
Faculty can use Moodle with minimal formal instruction or technical skills. Faculty are required to post an electronic version of their syllabus on Moodle ( Policy 2205 ). Beyond that, the degree to which the system is used in a course is determined by the instructor.

How do I download the Moodle app?
If your institution has created a branded app, you will be able to download it directly from the Google Play or App store. If you’re a student or learner already using the Moodle LMS and know the web address of your Moodle site, you can also access your courses with our free Moodle app on your mobile device.

What are the default links in the footer in Moodle?
On small screens the columns will be automatically reduced to one column for better readability and layout. Moodle provides some default links in the footer: Link to the Moodle docs, login information, and a link to the webpage start.
