Which pedal brand is better boss or TC?

Do TCE foot switches break easily?
TCE pedals are known for breaking after heavy use. Especially their cheap foot switches. I also just think BOSS pedals sound a lot better and they are known for high quality in sound and their build. I feel like if you just tap the switch rather than stomp on it you should be fine.
