- Free parking for our visitors is available in the center island on Schenley Drive. Metered street parking available on either side of Schenley Drive is also free after 6 p.m. Monday – Saturday and all day on Sundays.
- Bus parking is available on the south/east end of Schenley Drive near the park.

Where can I park in Flagstaff Hill?
Public parking is available on Flagstaff Hill, across the street from Phipps Conservatory. Free air-conditioned shuttle buses will take you up to the golf course and over to the Start/Finish line. Your $25 donation will benefit our charities. The parking lot opens at 8:00 AM and shuttles start to run at 8:30 AM.

On Sundays you can park free anyplace in Schenley Park. At other times I park either in front of Phipps Conservatory, where that plaza is always free. If there’s a cop watching, just head up the walk towards Phipps, and then duck out along one of the side pathways.

Is Schenley Park dog friendly?
Dogs are allowed throughout the park with exception to playgrounds and gaming courts. Dogs are allowed at the Plaza on paved areas only, and they must be under their owner’s control, leashed, and cleaned up after at all times in all areas of the park.
Why is it called Flagstaff Hill?
Flagstaff Hill is a suburb in the City of Onkaparinga local government area. It is named after the hill by that name in the area, where Colonel William Light erected a flagstaff during his survey, which was then used as a trig point.
Is Schenley Park Safe?
It’s a wooded ravine. I would be careful after dark. There may be some questionable people there at night. But in the daytime, it should be fairly safe.
